"Since my last email, many tremendous things have happened in our prayer room. people have been touched by God like never before in their lives!"  Carla Gomes reports from the CCVA ALverca Church prayer room in Portugal.    "a daughter of one of our brothers was in the hospital because of a pneumonia. the antibiotics weren't having any effect on her, and it was so advanced that the doctors said she had to be operated, or she would die.

The CCVA ALverca prayer room

she isn't a christian (yet), but her father took her a book about faith, and told her to have faith in God, that God was healing her. he told her that he, and his wife (her stepmother), were praying for her.

she read the book in less than an hour. and believed in what her father had said.

her stepmother came to our prayer room, and together with some other people prayed for this young girl. the next day, when they visited her they were amazed. she looked completely different.

her colour had changed, her voice was stronger (before they could hardly hear her), and the doctors were saying that she no longer needed to be operated on.   she had to stay under observation because they didn't understand what was going on.	Portugal prayer room creativity

there were another 2 girls in a similiar situation in her room, and her doctor said: you should teach them your prayers.

although nobody spoke anything about God or prayer to the doctor, she recognized that she had witnessed a miracle of God.

there has been healing, prayers have been answered, God has given a specific word for specific people, non-christians have come to our prayer room... but what has most impressed people is the changes that God is operating in them - in their inner person. and what has kept them coming and staying (for hours), is the touch of God. the gentle and sweet, yet powerful presence of God. people no longer come here just to ask for things... they come here to be with God, in His presence.....

thank you for everything,

thank you for your prayers,

God bless."
