Fruitful month of non-stop prayer 4 Kiwi Salvos - 6 May 2005
|
"Our church has really grown spiritually since the NZ Salvation Army's Year of 24-7 prayer began here at the Faith Factory - so much so, that we have, for so long, had very fringe members of the church who only attend church and nothing else, come forward and commit to things and bring other people to church. |

We have had just over 120 people commit themselves to God since March, 18 of those are brand new Christians and we owe all this to God.
Our church has finally learned that through prayer God can do the impossible.
Some of the 18 new Christians were people that we never thought possible would come to Christ but through persistance and perseverance in prayer, God has made the impossible, possible.
We will probably look to doing another 24-7 month of prayer later on in the year, but in the meantime we are preparing to go into the 40 Days of Purpose campaign with a strong emphasis on prayer and keeping the prayer room open for anyone who wishes to use it."
