The Week That's Been - 20 Jun 2003
It's been another week full of activity at 24-7 HQ.
Tuesday was the International Base Meeting : This comprises people involved with developing 24-7 on a scale wider than just the UK. AMongst all the chat web guru Pete Worthington ran through some designs for the relaunch of the 24-7 site. This will make it a lot easier for non English speakers to access the site as well as having a dedicated UK area.
Then on Wednesday we met in Reading to take part in the Myers Briggs personality test. Eighteen people from 6 different 24-7 offices in the UK took part. From the Reading, Manchester and Staines Boiler Rooms, Mission Teams, the web office as well as 24-7 HQ . It was one of the first times we'd all got together since last years Round Table and there were a few new additions too! The day has already helped us understand how to work together better. It has also taught us how to use our skills in a more productive way whilst learnign more about each other. It was a lot of fun.
And to end the week on a good note Christian, our temporary graphic designer, has joined us on a more permanent basis! We don't think he knows quite what he's let himself in for!
