Music and mahem - 25 Jun 2003

Today Andy Stez (our fundraiser) is playing a very eclectic selection music.  Our soundtrack for the day has been a mixture of Rawhide, Opera and S Club 7.  Can we truly be trusted with an international prayer movement?

Phil has taken a much needed holiday and has headed off  to camp in a smelly field for a week and listen to incredible music at the UK's premiere summer festival Glastonbury!!  We're all very jealous.  The rest of the office is ticking over amidst a debate on the pros and cons of Harry Potter.  Avid readers are pouring over it in their lunch break whilst others are enjoying taking the mick.

This week we actually have a really important presentation. For  some time now 24-7 has been looking at it's financial structure, how it fundraises and pay or not pays it's team.  From those discussions we recently commissioned Pete Ward from the Reading Boiler Room to research the issue. On Friday Pete will be presenting his findings to our Steering group and Trustees.  Please pray for Pete and the team as they discuss and pray about the way forward.
