'5 years ago it was a war zone' - 24-7 team prays in the Balkans - 17 Aug 2005

"Why are we going to Eastern Europe on a prayer trip?  What are we actually going to do?

We're going to pray for the cities we visit and the people we meet.  The areas we're visiting have seen so much political turmoil and tension throughout history, only five years ago the area was still at war.  We really want to engage with what God is already doing out there and build upon those foundations.

One of the things that we are planning to do is prayer walking and praying in strategic places such as churches, government buildings, bars, high places etc...  As well as praying for the 'big picture' things like the government and the land we want to engage with the many people we will meet on our journey.  Another part of our vision is that we'll be able to encourage the church out there.

I'm well excited about what the adventure God we lead us on.  Who knows what will happen?"
