USA: "My favorite place" - 19 Aug 2005
The last couple of months I've been seeking God's plan for my life and praying for some changes to come about in me.
I sensed God directing me to go to the prayer house and seek Him there. When I first walked in the door, it was as if I was entering God's presence. The Holy Spirit is manifested in that house in such a palatable way.

I've been going there everyday after work and praying in many of the rooms although the purple upstairs one is my "favorite" place. |
It is awe inspiring to realize that His presence permeates every room, board and space in that house.
What a blessing that our church was open to God's leading to create this wonderful place. I can only imagine that it must be, in some small way, a small preview of what it must be like in heaven.One evening, as I was upstairs, just talking with the Lord and in my room was soft music playing, in the next room was other music playing and someone just praising God, downstairs there were 3 people singing to another type of music and someone was playing a guitar. And then someone blew the Shofar and it blew loud and clear and suddenly I realized that this must be what it might be like in heaven, hearing everyone praising God in their own way and then being called to worship. |

I leave the house every evening with a sense of peace and knowledge that God is working in me. He gave me a vision of the layers peeling away like those of an onion and all the layers laying about on the ground and a beautiful lotus flower revealed, the only explanation I can give is this is truly God's house! |
