UK: "I am seeking God and He is speaking to me!" - 24 Feb 2006

“All my prayers for bringing friends along to events were answered and one came four times! All my friends really enjoyed the events and believe there is a God. It’s been an amazing time with my non-Christian friends.”

“My friend wants to come to Truth Explored (the Mission Week’s follow-up course!) Praise God! He is good and His love endures forever!"

Powerful testimonies arose when students and churches joined to coordinate 24-7 prayer at Birmingham University in late January. The prayer room was scheduled coincided with the university’s Mission week, and was held just off campus in a main student residential area.

"People were always dropping by," said Julia Baker. "By the end of the week, it seemed impossible to get time alone in the prayer room!"

"People returned to the room a number of times just to be able to sit in the peace and enjoy talking to God.

"The Graffiti Wall was much used, as was the wailing wall, and by the end of the week pages with Bible verses that people had written out covered any available wall space.

"Inside the room there was a Testimony Box for people to write any stories from the prayer room, and for the students also from the Mission Week.  Looking through the box it was noticeable that the majority of what people felt they wanted to write up was about their friends.
"People would go on their own or with friends to pray...people held small-group meetings in the room...people turned up who hadn’t booked slots just because they were free and wanted to, even at 1am...and some people would choose to stay there for three or four hours, in the night."
