Lucy attacked in London - Please pray - 25 Feb 2004

For those of you who made it to our UK Gathering or are part of the London Year of Prayer, you'll be familiar with the smiling face of Lucy Cooke.  Lucy (originally from Revelation Church where 24-7 began) has been living in London for 4 years and, alongside Esther, Claire and Linda, has been promoting and resourcing a non-stop year of 24-7 Prayer accross different networks and denominations within the M25.

Last night (Tues 24th) Lucy was mugged for the second time in 6 months outside her London flat.  Both her phone and her bag were forcibly taken from her and her attacker fled.  Thankfully Lucy was not seriously harmed but is a little shaken.  Please pray for her as she has an important audition for a West End musical tomorrow and  she is continuing to promote and pray 24-7 for the city of London.  We are not naive to the fact that when you stand on the front line and mobilise prayer the enemy isn't going to like it so please pray for Lucy and the whole London team as they continue in their vision.  To learn more about the year of prayer and how you can participate or support them check out www.24-7londonprayer.com
