2008: More Prayer Than Ever Before!Adri Roos - 29 Aug 2008

The Bible teaches us that there is a time for everything and I especially enjoy this time of the year.  It's time for our annual 24-7 Prayer international gathering! People from the four corners of the earth will all join together for a weekend of prayer, worship, celebrating, storytelling and listening. It's a time for reflecting over the past year, celebrating what God is doing in the nations and dreaming about what is yet to come with old and new friends.

Looking back over the past couple of years, it is incredible to see God's faithfulness in adding to our international community and spreading His glory into the nations of the earth. I sure feel blessed to be part of this big family.

2008 has seen more prayer rooms than any other year in the history of the 24-7 movement. We've had nearly a thousand of them registered across the globe which has led to a big jump in both our total number of prayer rooms and the number of nations we've had them in.  We've gone from 4500ish Prayer Rooms  in 74 nations (counted last Feb) to 5654 rooms in 87 nations!  

It's good to know that God still wants to talk to us! We're looking forward to joining hands and hearts in worship in September, and agreeing with scripture that God has made everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
