Postcards from America: Snapshots of What God is Doing in 24-7 USA - 19 Sep 2008
The eyes of the world are on the United States of America this month as they engage in a historical presidential election, spearhead the global financial crisis and recover from the devastation left by Hurricane Ike. But what is God doing in 24-7 USA? Here are some bite-sized snippets, postcards if you will, from the lives of our friends and "family" on the other side of the pond:
Living for Jesus
What compels a beautiful and talented young woman to turn down a prestigious career offer? Stacey Cunningham stepped away from a $50,000 job in order to coordinate prayer across the state of Maryland. She says God set her up! Read her testimony of God’s faithfulness and how He has hijacked her life. Also find out how you can support her obedience to God's call.
Encounter Among the Natives
Haskell University is the United States' only fully accredited Native American college. It was the site of 'Student CPX' this summer, a student church planting training that was bathed in 24-7 prayer. Throughout the two weeks of the training, it became obvious to students and leaders alike that God very much desires to do a work at Haskell University! One Campus America team member shares her story of how God dramatically encountered them in the place of prayer and how He is establishing His presence on campus in a permanent way.
He's On The Move
We recently sent out a message to students who are contending for the fullness of God's presence in our generation, asking them to share how God is showing up on their campuses. We also asked students to share what God has been stirring in their hearts for this coming semester and the dreams He is giving them for their fellow students. What exciting responses we received!! See what just a few of them have to say...

24-7 USA Needs a Boost!
The 24-7 USA resource center has hit a bit of a financial wall this month and could really use your support. Would you prayerfully consider a one-time donation to help us stay on top of our operating expenses? We are heading into a busy fall and are trusting God to alleviate the financial pressures so we can continue serving the prayer movement sweeping the nation. An additional $2000to what we already have pledged would take care of our pressing needs. You can make your tax deductible donation here.
