Pray for the Greigs! - 10 Aug 2004
For those of you have been part of the 24-7 community for some time now can't help but be aware of Pete and Samie Greig and their gorgeous boys Hudson (6) and Daniel (3). Pete and Samie were part of the original team that founded the movement and now they're embarking on an exciting new chapter for themselves and the community.
At 10am this morning the Greig family stepped aboard a plane that carried them all the way to Kansas City where the family will be living for the next 11 months. "We will be helping with an excellent course called Transit which develops and disciples young leaders," says Samie. "We particularly hope to see Transit develop as a course that can help provide training for the 24-7 community in America and eventually Europe too".
Though they may be in a different country, Pete and Samie will still be veryactive in 24-7. We're really gonna miss them here in the International office and we ask you to pray with us for them. Pray for a safe journey, protection for Samie's health in the coming year and that the boy's settle in quickly in their new home. Pete and Samie are taking a step of faith in many tangible ways, please pray that God provides for them and gives them peace to trust in His provision.
