The Presence of God!

Iraq: “Greetings from Baghdad… I am in Baghdad for three months [to] pray for the city… I thank God who has enabled me to start a 24-7 Prayer [Room] in Baghdad and also paying for my hotel bills... We had one of the most anointed prayer times this morning and all four of us we touched by the power of the Holy Spirit and we are seeing God at work here.”

Australia: “A beautiful time of reflection- I felt lost in the presence of God”

Italy: “The center-piece of the [Prayer] room this time was a split mirror on the wall. Above each side was a frame with a question: What do you see when you look in the mirror? What does God see when you look in the mirror? We had a few new people participate and it was cool to see Catholics and Evangelicals and some who don’t really fit any category express prayer through art, song, journal entries, poems, silence and Scripture.”

New Zealand: “For several years I have loved the concept of continuous worship and prayer to our God… However it seemed a long way in the distance. In May 2007 my pastor's wife gave me 'Red Moon Rising' to read. As I started to read, God reached out through the pages and grabbed me. It was as if I knew this was what I was born for! On July 9th 2007, after I had circulated several copies of 'Red Moon Rising' and after I had preached on the perpetual incense in the tabernacle, we began three weeks of 24-7 prayer. The immediate results were a huge increase in unity in our church. It was so amazing to read things on the wall and realize the Holy Spirit was speaking the same things to us all. Also many were touched by the presence of God in the room. Some would even start to cry as they knocked on the door to be let in.

To cut a long story short, half a year later our 24-7 Prayer is still going! God's favour has been on it so much. To make it more sustainable, and because so many were busy on Sundays serving in the church and with family, we have a break for 24 hours from Sunday 5 a.m. till Monday 5 a.m. (I hope it is OK to still call it 24-7!).”

Healings and Answered Prayer

Australia: Praise the Lord! Thank you so much for your miraculous healing touch on my life Lord! I now have no asthma or arthritis and am on no medication for these. Thanks a million dearest Jesus! Love you so much. I have a new passion for you Lord and an absolute faith.

UK: “We are still covering three days a month… every hour is filled now its flowing well. It took a bit of perseverance and God’s grace! We have recently seen a lady get out of the wheel chair, and another throw away her crutches. Another had an inoperable cancer disappear. All verified by the medical people. It’s in direct relationship to the 24-7 prayer. “

New Zealand: “We have been praying for Rene who had problems with her hand and swelling under her chin, and she is now healed.”

Lives Changed

Australia: “A couple of months ago, a young lady who has a drug addiction wandered into the Thrift Shop next door wanting to turn her life around. Deb, the shop manager, began building a relationship with her and God gave Deb an opportunity to speak into her life. Just before Christmas Deb was able to invite the lady into the 24/7 Prayer Room for prayer and the next day she came back into the shop all excited because she had given her life to Jesus! God is transforming her life and she is making positive steps to overcome her addictions.”

Northern Ireland: “Martin our homeless visitor, shared his life stories and pain, he then gave us a bag of money, all he had like the widow, may he know the transforming power of God in his life and may he come out of his illness with alcohol.”

Australia: Thanks for saving Kath, now a shining light

Uganda: “Praise the Lord. Thank you for 24 Prayer it works and has worked for us... In our prayers the lord revealed to us an island without the Church and yesterday the island was found and 50 people got saved and church is planted because of prayer... The island is called Kacunga… I have just come back from there and the fellowship is so strong... [Kacunga] has no power, school [or] hospital and 99% are HIV/AIDS victims but prayers are making a difference. The island is on Lake Victoria in [the] Kalanga district… their occupation is fishing. I am blessed to carry on Jesus’ ministry of raising fishermen from fishing to fishers of men”
