24-7prayer.com Gets More Than a FaceliftJonah Bailey - 21 Apr 2009

For the observant amongst you, you may have noticed our web site is looking a bit different these days! Not only has the site undergone a re-design but it has been re-structured with a lot of new content to make it easier for everyone to find the information they want. We recognise that there are folks within the movement who love a constant stream of fresh content from across the movement. But we also know that new users to the website can get a bit lost in all the features and new articles when all they want to do is find out what 24-7 Prayer is all about.

For those of you who want to keep more up to date with stories and news from around the 24-7 movement, keep an eye on the new 24-7 blog.  Bloggers from across 24-7 will be contributing to this facet of the website. As it develops over the coming weeks, we will add the ability for you to engage with the movement by posting comments on individual blog entries.

The idea behind 24-7 Features is to shine a spotlight on the best stories and teaching from throughout the movement.  In the future we would love to be able to make use of video, photos and audio.  We hope these features will both edify and inspire people throughout the 24-7 Prayer movement.

We are also doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work to prepare the ground for some further additions that are coming soon. For example we will soon have the ability to add content and user experience elements in languages other than english. Now we just need someone to coordinate all the translations! We also have some exciting prayer applications in the pipeline, so watch this space! Don't worry, existing features like the wailing wall and prayer room registry are still here.

We'd love to hear any and all feedback on the new look, so until we have enabled comments please send us an email or leave us a reply on our twitter feed.
