New devotional images to help you pray - 5 Jul 2013
A while back we gave a shout out on the blog looking for talented photographers to help us with Ancient Paths; a resource to help you explore the Monastic and Contemplative traditions of the church. Within Ancient Paths you will find a host of devotional images to help you reflect, meditate and pray.
We want to say a massive thank you to Pete Ward, Lunette Opperman and Stephanie Prigden for offering some of their beautiful and thought-provoking images for us to use.
Here are a taste of the images you will find in Ancient Paths.
By Faith not by Sight

“Faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) Lets walk towards what we know is there, but can’t always see clearly yet.
With special thanks to Pete Ward Photography.
My Yoke is Easy

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matt 11:28-30
Are they any areas of your life that are making you feel heavy and burdened? Take some time to give those things to Jesus and experience his peace.
With special thanks to Lunette Opperman Photography.
Lord, Earnestly I Seek You

"You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water." Psalm 63:1
With special thanks to Stephanie Prigden.
If you are a photographer and would like to help us grow Ancient Paths inspire the church to pray then we would love to hear from you.
