Help Shape History #GivePrayGoCarla Harding - 25 Sep 2014

God is providing through the generosity of people like you, and we are so grateful!

Thank you to those who have responded so far to our 15th Anniversary Appeal. We’re a third of the way toward meeting our £15,000 need! We’ve been deeply moved by stories of why people are giving and the messages of encouragement we’ve received.

Would you help us get all the way to our target by giving to the work of 24-7 Prayer today?

Why give to help people pray?  Isn’t prayer free?

“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence… Love others as well as you love yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39 MSG

24-7 Prayer exists to help you and your community meet Jesus in prayer, and then equip you to become an answer to those prayers by sharing Jesus with others.  Our call is as old as the Church itself, and though anyone can pray anytime, anywhere, we’ve found that its one aspect of our faith that many people (and Churches) struggle with.

Over the years we’ve given our time to develop free models, resources, support, inspiration, teaching and anything else we can thin of to help people overcome barriers to prayer. We do this because we know that encountering Jesus changes us, changes our communities and ultimately affects the whole world. At a time when violence is tearing Syria and Northern Iraq apart, and Ebola is decimating communities in Sierra Leone, Jesus’ cry must be prayed sincerely and persistently by His Church...

“Our Father in heaven, reveal who you are. Set the world right; do what’s best - as above, so below.” Matthew 6:9-10 MSG

This September marks 15 years of unceasing prayer passed from person-to-person, church-to-church, nation-to-nation around the globe.

Closer - we estimate over a million people have tried praying 24-7, many experiencing healing, answered prayer, new depth in their relationship with God and an adrenalin shot to their Church’s prayer life.

Deeper - we’ve helped thousands with their daily prayer lives through our free 24-7 Podcast, a seasonal video devotional that’s been downloaded more than a quarter of a million times.  We're also helping many explore a deeper understanding of prayer through the recent release of The Prayer Course, a free, online resource.

Further - we’ve seen prayer fuel love for others through the rescuing of passed-out partygoers in Ibiza, care for homeless youth in the USA, the discipling of refugees in Lebanon and many more diverse expressions of mission and mercy.

Be part of fuelling this move of God

“The hinge of history is a bended knee.” Pete Greig

We fervently believe that this could be the first 15 years of a prayer and mission movement that could shape history, outlive us all and see thousands come to know Jesus. We need to raise £15,000 a year through new monthly givers just to keep pace with the growth of the 24-7 Prayer movement.  Would you pray and consider giving today?
